Ingredients
- 500ml sugar (2 cups);
- 500g grated white beans;
- 125g butter;
- 3 tablespoons wheat flour (without yeast);
- 12 egg yolks;
- 2 whole eggs;
Preparation and Cooking
- In a saucepan, add sugar, melted butter, flour, grated white beans, egg yolks, and the two whole eggs;
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly;
- On low heat, continue stirring until it comes to a boil;
Filling the Molds
- Grease the molds with butter;
- Fill the molds with small amounts of the prepared mixture;
- Use a spoon to smooth the surface of the mixture.
Baking the Tarts
- Preheat the oven to 170-180ºC (338-356ºF);
- Bake the tarts for about 30 to 35 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Once Cooled
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
