Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for byAçores
Sybo (the owner and responsible party for the byAçores brand) is committed to respecting the privacy and confidentiality of the personal data provided to us. This document contains information about how such data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have adopted administrative and technological measures to comply with the new GDPR.
Where is personal data collected?
Sybo actively collects personal data through its website at www.byacores.com.
What is the purpose of collecting personal data?
Personal data is collected for the use of the members’ area (user registration), contact forms, and subscription to newsletters, with the explicit consent of their owners, thus allowing Sybo to provide access to the private members’ area, inform them about our services, projects, and other useful information via email, as well as maintain contact with them over time as long as it is of mutual interest.
Why is personal data collected?
All information collected by Sybo is for its exclusive use. Sybo is committed to not selling, exchanging, renting, or sharing this information with third parties without the user’s consent, except where required by court order.
The information collected is organized internally in a database duly regulated by the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) and may be used for:
- Improving our services and products;
- Enhancing consumer support services;
- Sending periodic information that may be of interest to users;
- Improving the content of our website. Access to the website is in no way conditioned on subscribing to the newsletter or on the collection of personal data.
Subscription to the newsletter is contingent upon confirmation via an email sent to the user after the request is made, as a way to confirm that the request was indeed made by them. Each newsletter sent collects metrics that identify which subscribers opened it (through an invisible pixel) and clicked on any links contained in the message they received.
How is personal data processed?
Data is collected directly by Sybo and processed for sending information via email as described above. The data is treated confidentially, stored in a database with restricted access for employees who need it for the intended purposes.
How is personal data collected?
Personal data is collected through the Sybo website and email addresses. In the case of the website, this collection occurs directly (through the completion of forms where data is requested) and indirectly (through the recording of actions taken by site visitors that are essentially anonymous but may allow for identification in some cases). Indirect collection includes electronic communication protocols, cookies, embedded addresses, transparent pixels, other widgets, or geolocation data.
What level of IT security is applied to personal data?
We employ physical, technological, and administrative security measures to protect information. Data collected through the byAçores website is transmitted via the Internet under a secure SSL protocol. This type of communication is not inviolable but currently adheres to the best practices in the market. Additionally, the data is stored in databases managed by Sybo in an encrypted manner, and periodic backups are conducted to minimize the likelihood of data loss in case of a storage system failure.
What happens if there is a security breach?
If a security breach occurs that results in unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, we will inform you via email.
