Calheta de Nesquim, aerial view – simply magnificent images
Calheta de Nesquim is one of the most precious pearls of the Pico Island in the Açores.
The parish was the first whaling center on Pico Island. Today it is still possible to visit the whaleboat houses and the lookout post. The parish church shows influences of the Baroque style.
