On the island Graciosa, this spot is designed for stand up paddle and has a simple starting point: the small sandy beach serves as both entry and exit from the water. From there, your paddle can head north or south, depending on your preference and the day’s conditions.

Right in front of the beach sits the Ilhéu da Praia, a natural invitation for paddlers. Landing on the islet is not permitted, but it’s worth paddling around it slowly: the complete circuit allows you to observe a large seabird colony and, with the water’s transparency, appreciate the seabed around the islet.
