Flores Island – what to do / see and points of interest

Although it is called Flores Island, it does not abound with flowers. This is one of the archipelago’s wettest islands and abounds in vegetation, also having some wild landscapes and different from the remaining eight islands.

In it the basalt predominates, in the form of high plateaus where the cascades stand out in their steep rocks. It also has a fantastic view of the smaller island of the Azores archipelago , the Corvo.
