When to Buy/Search for Flights
According to various studies and statistics, the best prices for travel can be found 56 days before the planned travel date. If you are already planning your next trip, it is important to start searching as soon as possible to get the best deal.
With the high demand for low-cost flights, this is a tip to keep in mind. It doesn’t mean you won’t find a good price in a shorter period. However, the closer to the date, the more expensive it will be.
Tuesday is the cheapest day to fly. If you have the availability to travel during the week, check Tuesday and Wednesday, as these are usually the most economical days. On the other hand, the weekend, specifically Saturday, is the most expensive period.
Another important tip is the flight time. Choose, if possible, a flight in the late afternoon/evening. Morning flights are usually more expensive.

It has happened in some cases: searching for a flight and the next day—or moments later—it’s more expensive. In reality, this is not always true. It is a strategy of airlines and travel portals to make you decide more quickly to purchase and not search too much over several days.
The tip is to clear your computer’s cookies—which store the information that you searched for that flight. Or even change your browser/computer and/or connection. In some cases, you may be surprised by the price: it remains the same or even gets cheaper.
