Açores Fare: €60 round trip | What it is, how it works, and how to book

The Açores Fare is now available! This fare is exclusively for residents of the Açores and consists of a round trip for a maximum of €60, between the islands of the Açores Archipelago, regardless of the departure or arrival airport.

Açores Fare

The Açores Fare is available following the Passenger Subsidy for Inter-Island Travel and is provided by SATA Air Açores.

A fare that allows any passenger residing in the Autonomous Region of the Açores (with a fiscal address on one of the nine islands of the archipelago) to make a round trip – between the islands of the archipelago – for a maximum of €60.00. Regardless of the departure and destination island, this price remains the same.

Açores Fare Price

The prices for the Açores Fare are as follows:

• Adult: €60.00 round trip (inter-island applicable taxes included);
• Children / Infants with a seat: 45% discount on the Açores Fare (taxes apply);
• Infants without a seat: 80% discount on the Açores Fare.

Note: The remaining inter-island fares continue to be available, and passengers are free to choose the fare that best suits their needs.

Conditions

You should check the conditions of the Açores Fare before making your reservation or issuing your ticket.

• The fare is available from May 29th for reservations;
• Travel under the Açores Fare begins on June 1st, 2021;
• It is possible to make one transfer in each direction, with the exception of the islands of Corvo, Flores, and Santa Maria, where two transfers are permitted.
• The layover time at the transfer point, counted from the arrival time at this point to the departure time for the next flight, cannot exceed 24 hours.
• Travel routes and itineraries must respect the geographical layout of the islands.
• Combining the “Açores Fare” with other fares on the same ticket is not permitted.
